- Key Account role for one fixed partner
In your role as Account Manager Automation, you will be responsible for one specific customer in Belgium for all control panel solutions. This single client represents 25% of the regional turnover. You will have direct access to key stakeholders, enabling fast decision-making based on their needs and allowing you to translate those needs into the right solution in no time.
- Combination of scale and tailor-made solutions
In this position, you act as the key link between the Belgian customer and the Spanish development team dedicated to this account. As this customer is an exclusive partner, you can quickly define the optimal solution based on clear and structured information. Every solution is fully tailor-made to meet the customer’s requirements.
Function details
- You are responsible for a strategic industrial key account (long-term partnership).
- You provide technical support for existing product lines (motors, drives, control panels).
- Based on the identified needs, you prepare quotations and draft the Bill of Materials.
- You are in daily contact with the customer’s engineering team and international production sites (including Spain).
- You follow up on orders, technical alternatives, and project files.
- You combine product selling and solution selling, leveraging your technical expertise and the customer’s specific requirements.
- 95% of the role is office-based and computer-focused (but not purely administrative).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation, drives, or industrial electrical applications.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, frequency converters, control panels, and industrial applications.
- Technically proficient enough to independently prepare quotations and Bills of Materials.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented.
- Customer-focused with commercial awareness (while maintaining a predominantly technical profile).
- Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a plus).
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with international production and engineering teams.
- Stable personality seeking long-term commitment.
